Since doing that is not really viable, because then your enemies will just close up to you and maul you to death, I kept digging. However it works fine if you remove the script from the respective record in 圎dit, so it is related in some way. HUGE disclaimer here, I have very little experience with scripts, but even I could take 1 look at it and tell that there's no way this is crashing the whole game. It's only temporarily subtracting some carry weight and movement speed from the target and then adding it back shortly afterwards, so it can't possibly be causing the crash. Now before you storm into Enai's inbox, telling them that their scripts are garbage, know that the script in question is very simple. Through some trial and error I figured out that, for some strange reason that only Todd knows, the game very much does not like a particular magic effect to have a particular script attached to it - the script that Odin and Vokrii provide, which is then being applied every time your ice magic hits someone. I've decided to take my monkey brain to 圎dit and the Creation Kit to see what's wrong. In that case this mod is just for you!įun fact, this is how I initially found out that this crash happens and which mods were responsible. Chances are your game will collapse either instantly or after casting Ice Spike a few times. Start a new game or load a save from before completing the March of the Dead quest, type coc DLC2FortFrostmoth01 in the console, clip through the key locked door, equip Ice Spike in both hands, turn on god mode to not run out of magika and start double blasting at Falx Carius from across the hallway (double cast, not dual casting, though that might make it crash too). You may be wondering: "What is this guy talking about? I've never had any crashes when using Vokrii and Odin!" Well, I've found a consistent way to have the game crash that you can try yourself if you wish to: Sadge :(ĭid I use this joke enough? Ok, I'll stop. Unfortunately, they can't as they are limited to the game itself. Turns out your followers, some pesky ice mages and even dragons might like your wallpaper so much that they decide to share the moment with you. But wait, your uncanny ability to quickly access that wallpaper is surprisingly not limited to you. However, while using Ice Spike and sometimes other frost related spells, you might notice that the game will randomly Just Work™ and leave you staring into your wonderful desktop wallpaper. Odin and Vokrii are fantastic mods that will greatly enhance how you play the game with new spells and perks.
